San Fernando 28, Chatsworth 7--Brian Jackson ran 50 yards for one touchdown and returned a punt 74 yards for another to lead the Tigers (4-1, 2-0).
Senior quarterback Leon Blunt led all rushers with 88 yards, including a one-yard touchdown run to break a 7-7 tie in the third quarter. He also passed for 42 yards. San Fernando’s other score came on a 14-yard run by Lavell Thompson in the fourth quarter.
Shon Alexander, who rushed for 64 yards, scored the only touchdown by Chatsworth (3-2, 1-1) on a five-yard run in the first quarter to give the Chancellors a 7-0 lead.
San Fernando rushed for 239 yards and held Chatsworth to 68 yards on the ground. Chatsworth quarterback Aaron Hummel passed for 124 yards with two interceptions.
