FileNet Corp. Reports Profit of $2.2 Million in 3rd Quarter

FileNet Corp., the Costa Mesa document imaging and automation company, reported a profit of $2.2 million, or 20 cents a share, for the third quarter ended Oct. 3, double the $1.1 million, or 10 cents a share, earned in the third quarter of 1992.

Revenue increased to $40 million from $37.1 million. For the nine-month period, the company posted profit of $3.8 million, or 35 cents a share, on revenue of $113 million. For the like period a year earlier, profit totaled $3.7 million, or 33 cents a share, on revenue of $106.5 million.
