Westlake 17, Camarillo 6--The Warriors (6-1-1, 4-0-1) scored all their points in the first half and won a defensive struggle at Camarillo. Westlake pressured Scorpion quarterback Jay Nirenberg into a 10-for-29 passing performance for only 82 yards. Camarillo (4-4, 2-3) had only six yards total offense in the second half.

Westlake quarterback Kevin Crook hit six of his first seven passes and finished 17 of 31 for 174 yards. Westlake fullback Craig Walendy rushed 16 times for 109 yards and opened the scoring in the first quarter on an 18-yard run.
