Rexhall Industries Reports 3rd-Quarter Profit
Rexhall Industries Inc. rebounded with $293,000 in net income for the third quarter that ended Sept. 30. The Saugus-based company had reported a net loss of $322,000 for the same period last year.
Sales for the third quarter nearly quadrupled to $7.8 million, compared to $2 million for the third quarter of 1992.
For the first nine months, the company posted earnings of $741,000 on sales of $21 million. For the same period in 1992, the company reported a loss of $447,000 on earnings of $9.5 million.
The company attributed its improved performance to increased sales through a newly expanded dealer network. Rexhall manufactures motor homes.
