Women Veterans
This week has been designated National Women Veterans Recognition Week. In conjunction with this special week of tribute for America’s women veterans, the Women In Military Service Memorial Foundation is sponsoring a registration drive among women veterans for the memorial’s computerized register.
Each registration can include the photo, military history and personal memories. Visitors will be able to access the registration of any servicewoman through a computerized database at the memorial. Scholars will have a solid record of the achievements of women, in partnership with men, in the defense of our nation.
