Buena 25, Schurr 14--Quarterback Chris Carr threw one touchdown pass and ran for another score to lead the Bulldogs (8-3) at Rio Mesa High. Buena will play West Covina next week.

Johnny Chang rushed for 192 yards in 34 carries and scored on a five-yard run in the second quarter. Chang, who replaced injured running back George Keiaho (strained right knee), also caught three passes for 21 yards.

Buena’s defense, which held the Spartans (7-4) to 65 yards, was led by Cory Phillips, who had two interceptions.
