Angels Change Ticket Prices
The Angels have increased ticket prices in some locations and reduced them in others for the 1994 season, the team announced Saturday.
Prices for the 8,092 premium seats between the bases--sold on a season-ticket basis--will be increased by $2: field and club level MVP seats (4,632 of them) will be $13, and 3,460 terrace MVP seats will be $10.
View level reserve seats (6,150) will be $8, up $1.
The reduced tickets will be beyond the outfield fences, where field, terrace, club and view seats will all be $5, up to a $3 decrease; ticket prices in those areas ranged from $4-$8 last season. A total of 21,823 seats will cost $5.
The club said the changes would increase the average Angel ticket price by 20 cents to $8.20, tied for fourth-lowest in baseball with Philadelphia and behind Colorado ($7.91), Cincinnati ($7.95) and Seattle ($7.98).
