GM to Recall Minivans and Suburbans: The auto maker said it will offer free repairs on about 600,000 minivans and Suburbans equipped with bucket seats as soon as it has the parts to fix a defective bolt in them. General Motors Corp. acknowledged reports that at least 28 people have been injured due to the seats collapsing. It said recall notices will be sent to the owners of 1985-91 Chevrolet Astro and GMC Safari minivans and 1989-90 Chevrolet and GMC Suburbans with front bucket seats.
