ROUNDUP : Cal Lutheran Women Drub Pacific Christian, 124-9

Nicole Albert scored 29 points and Evi Orologas added 24 points and 13 rebounds as host Cal Lutheran set five team records in a 124-9 victory over Pacific Christian in a nonconference women’s basketball game Tuesday night.

The Regals (1-2) set records for most points, most field goals made (46), most rebounds (64) and fewest points allowed in a game. They also set a record for the largest margin of victory.

Albert had six assists and seven steals. Diana Cortez had 17 points, 15 assists and 14 steals.

Pacific Christian (0-5) had 70 turnovers and made four of 41 shots (9.8%) from the field.

In another women’s basketball game:

Moorpark 59, Antelope Valley 47--Natalie Gutierrez had 18 rebounds and eight assists and Lisa Church scored 15 points to lead the Raiders (2-5) to a nonconference victory at Antelope Valley.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Simi Valley 78, Granada Hills 46--Vernon Simmons scored a game-high 22 points and Jeremy Roberts added 17 off the bench for Simi Valley in an opening-round game of its own tournament.

Simi Valley JV 64, Notre Dame 49--Scott Blough had 19 points and seven assists for the Pioneers in a first-round Simi Valley tournament game. Tom Zapata led Notre Dame with 14 points.

Hart 65, Kennedy 47--Randy Roa had 18 points and Eric Spindt had eight assists for the Indians in a Simi Valley tournament game.

Chatsworth 61, Palisades 44--Jerome Joseph scored eight of his 13 points in the third quarter as the host Chancellors broke open a two-point halftime lead in a nonleague game.

Eddie Miller led Chatsworth with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Chaminade 49, Saugus 47--Shawnte Mitchell and Katy Bloodgood each scored 13 for Chaminade in a nonleague opener. Lisa Nielsen scored 23 for Saugus.

Notre Dame 60, North Hollywood 44--Forward Maggie Dixon had 13 points and 11 rebounds for the host Knights in a nonleague game.

Alemany 74, St. Paul 29--Carly Funicello had 25 points for the host Indians in a nonleague game.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Thousand Oaks 1, Moorpark 0--Sean Hobbs made a penalty kick early in the second half in a nonleague match at Thousand Oaks.
