PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE NFL : Cunningham Plans On Earlier Return

Randall Cunningham, in his first appearance in the Philadelphia Eagles’ locker room in a month, said he wants to play again before the season ends and hopes to start the final three games.

Cunningham’s prediction would mean that the quarterback could be back as early as Dec. 19 at Indianapolis.

Cunningham, who broke his left leg against the Jets on Oct. 3, was initially told he would need 10-12 weeks to recover.
