Irvine Sensors Posts $1.5-Million Loss for Year
Irvine Sensors Corp., the Costa Mesa developer of high-density computer electronics and sensing devices, reported a fiscal 1993 net loss of $1.5 million, or 12 cents a share, compared to a loss of $895,800, or 8 cents a share, last year.
The company attributed the increased losses to commercialization expenses related to its chip-stacking technology. Revenue for the fiscal year ended Oct. 3 rose 13%, to $4.3 million from $3.8 million.
