Monrovia : Relief Agency Won’t Move
After a three-month study, the World Vision U.S. board of directors has decided not to move its headquarters from Monrovia.
In September, the board voted to consider moving its headquarters, partially as a cost-saving measure. But after studying locations in 14 cities, the board did not find enough reasons to justify a move, said spokeswoman Cathy MacCaul. Board members decided that a move would not save enough money and would disrupt the agency’s operation, she said.
World Vision, an international Christian relief and development agency, is among the city’s top five employers.
