ROSE BOWL / DAILY REPORT : WISCONSIN

Wisconsin will waste no time today in getting into the whirlwind of activities surrounding the Rose Bowl game.

After this morning’s first workout at Citrus College, Coach Barry Alvarez and his Badgers will tour Universal Studios. Monday afternoon, the team will be at Disneyland; Tuesday evening at Lawry’s Beef Bowl dinner, and Wednesday night at the Big Ten Dinner for Champions at the Century Plaza Hotel.

Jay Norvell, Wisconsin receivers and special teams coach, was a defensive back for Iowa in the 1986 Rose Bowl game. And his father, Merritt Norvell, played on Wisconsin’s 1963 Rose Bowl team--three months before Jay was born.
