Fingerprinting of Children Offered
Parents will have a chance to obtain a record of their child’s fingerprints Saturday when Ventura County sheriff’s deputies sponsor “Operation Kid Print.”
The event is free and will be held at Mountain Meadows School, 4200 Mountain Meadows Drive, in Moorpark from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sheriff’s deputies will fingerprint children--a critical record if a child is abducted or lost--and engrave driver’s license numbers on bicycles to prevent theft.
