DMV: Extended Office Hours Are Nice, but Where Are the Handbooks in English?

This is about the DMV article of Jan. 13, Page 6. It’s commendable that DMV has extended hours and changed days of operation to accommodate the public, but they have neglected to state that there are no English versions of the handbook available. Unless you read Spanish or Vietnamese, you’re in trouble. Not only are English books not available, but the staff at the Pomona office is not interested in calling other DMV offices in the area for you to see if they might have several books.
