Ingram Micro Inc. in Santa Ana will distribute the entire personal computer line of Digital Equipment Corp. starting immediately.
Digital is expanding its reach beyond the corporate marketplace to individual and small-business computer users and so needs a distributor that can put it in touch with new markets, said Harry Copperman, vice president of Digital’s PersonalComputer Business Unit.
