Getty Trust Invites Intern Applicants
The J. Paul Getty Trust is offering summer internships for undergraduate students interested in exploring careers in the visual arts and the humanities.
Students of all cultural backgrounds and academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.
A new aspect of the intern program is a collaboration with the master’s program in Museum Studies at USC. Interns interested in graduate work in curatorial studies and museum education will receive special consideration for admission to the Museum Studies program, financial support and the opportunity for a graduate internship at the Getty Museum or elsewhere.
Applicants must be enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an accredited college or university. They must have completed at least two semesters or three quarters of college at the time of application. Students who graduated from college prior to December, 1993, are not eligible. The internships are full time, beginning June 20 and ending Aug. 26, and include a stipend of $3,000.
All application materials must be postmarked by March 7; notifications will be made by April 25. To receive an application form, call (310) 451-6545.
