Pinnacle Micro Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of optical storage systems reported a profit of $2.6 million for 1993, compared to earnings of $1.3 million for 1992. Sales increased 71% to $39.2 million from $22.9 million. Profit for the fourth quarter totaled $653,100, compared to earnings of $836,000 for the same period a year earlier. Three-month sales were $11.2 million, up from $7.8 million. Effective July 1, the company changed its method of incorporation. Pro forma earnings per share were 42 cents a share for 1993, compared to 22 cents a share for the previous 12 months. Fourth-quarter earnings were 12 cents a share for 1993 and 14 cents a share for 1992.
