LAKE FOREST : Missing Man With Alzheimer’s Sought

Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 75-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease who failed to return home from a trip to a store Tuesday afternoon.

A Sheriff’s Department spokesman said Ernest William Constable left his home on Ridge Route to go to a local hardware store and did not come back. Several hours later, his wife calledthe department to report him missing.

Deputies checked several businesses in the area but weren’t able to locate Constable.

Constable is 5-foot-8 and weighs about 160 pounds. His eyes are blue and he was last seen wearing a long-sleeve plaid shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Constable was driving a white 1991 Ford Tempo with California license plate number 2VMM799.

Deputies said Constable suffers from short-term memory loss related to Alzheimer’s, but is otherwise in good health.
