Huntington Field Trip--The Sea & Sage chapter of the National Audubon Society will hold a field trip to Huntington Central Park at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
With fresh “lake” areas at the park, bird activity has picked up, chapter officials say. Participants should be ready to get their feet wet as the group checks shrubs, trees and the lake area for birds.
The group will meet at the park’s Slater Avenue parking lot, east of Golden West Street.
For more information, call the chapter office at (714) 261-7963. Young Audubons--South Coast Audubon, a chapter of the National Audubon Society, will hold a program for children ages 5 to 12 at 6 p.m. Wednesday. The topic will be what to do if you find an injured bird.
The program will be held at the Boys and Girls Club, 1304 Calle Valle, San Clemente.
