A Delta 2 rocket blasted off Saturday after a 10-day delay, carrying a satellite designed to relay cable television signals.

The rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 3:45 p.m. PST, carrying the $130-million satellite for Hughes Communications.

The rocket had a new set of fuel-pressure sensors, which replaced a defective set that aborted the first launch attempt Feb. 9. Bad weather spoiled a second try Friday.
