* Thank you for the fitting tribute to Marija Gimbutas’ passing (editorial, Feb. 5). She indeed was a great scholar and was the pivot around which people’s lives turned when they finally learned about God as a female deity.

Those of us whose lives have changed because of Gimbutas’ work applaud your well-written accolade.
