THOUSAND OAKS : Forum to Deal With Business Matters
The topic of the 24th annual Mathews Management Forum, scheduled March 3 at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, will be “Economic Survival Versus Justice in the Workplace--The Dilemma of the ‘90s.”
The purpose of the forum is to develop a closer relationship between the business community, university faculty and students, Cal Lutheran officials said.
The event will involve a series of round-table discussions, examining questions of morality, legality and ethics in business matters.
The keynote speaker will be James Ware, a judge serving in the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Ware, a native of Birmingham, Ala., received his bachelor’s degree from Cal Lutheran in 1969.
The forum will run from 4 to about 7:30 p.m. It is sponsored by 16 corporate and community groups, including Cal Lutheran, the American Assn. of University Women and the Hyatt Westlake Hotel.
Registration is $25 and includes dinner for the person registering as well as for a student. Registration fees are due no later than Wednesday.
For information, call Cal Lutheran at 493-3151.
