In other Division II games:
Cypress 3, Canyon 2 (OT)--Brad Dunaway, a sophomore who was called up from junior varsity for the playoffs, scored the game-winner with one minute remaining in the second 10-minute period. Joe Meza and Mike Gaitley each scored for the Centurions (15-5-5), who play Long Beach Wilson in a quarterfinal Thursday.
Steve Maynard and Eric Valent scored for Canyon (17-6-4).
Capistrano Valley 1, Paramount 0--Jud Nester scored in the second half and goalkeeper Jason Felix had five saves for Capistrano Valley (15-5-5). The Cougars will play top-seeded Santa Barbara in a quarterfinal Thursday.
In Division III:
Brea-Olinda 3, Whittier La Serna 0--Ozzy Sanchez scored in the first half and Brian Yezarski and Tim Albrecht scored in the second half for host Brea-Olinda (18-4-2). Justin Breazeale had five saves to record his 12th shutout of the season.
Brea advances to play Pomona Garey in a quarterfinal Thursday.
In Division IV:
Saddleback 3, San Marino 0--Raul Montes scored twice and John Maldonado scored once for Saddleback (23-3), which will face top-seeded Riverside Poly.
Santa Margarita 2, Corona Centennial 0--Seth George scored his 23rd goal of the season, and John McDonald scored his first of the year for host Santa Margarita (15-4-5), which faces Corona in the quarterfinals. The Eagles held Centennial (16-5-4) to three shots on goal.
