LOS ANGELES : Melanie Griffith Files for Divorce From Don Johnson

Actress Melanie Griffith petitioned for a divorce Friday from actor Don Johnson, seeking to end their nearly five-year marriage--the second time they had been married to each other. Griffith and Johnson, married since June 26, 1989, separated Wednesday, according to the petition, which cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. They have one child, Dakota Mayi Johnson, born Oct. 4, 1989. Griffith requested primary custody.
