Take Our Info Highway--Please

Enough already! PC Magazine, a computer publication, has had about all the information highway puns it can take from newspaper and magazine headlines, including its own: The Information Highway Needs Traffic Rules. A Toll Collector on the Information Highway. Nationwide Data Highway Faces Speed Bump.

“Who gave it that boring name anyway?” the magazine asked in its April 26 issue. “Why didn’t they call it the Siliconbahn?”

The publication invited its readers to help rename the whatchamacallit.

“We’ll pick a winner,” the magazine said, “and together we’ll change the course of history.”
