Agents Seize $9 Million in Illegal Drug Proceeds

WASHINGTON —
U.S. customs agents seized more than $9 million in illegal drug proceeds before they could be smuggled from Miami to Colombia, officials said Friday.
The total amount--$9,117,960 in cash--was hidden in 53 stereo speakers and 18 air compressors and was seized in inspections.
