Restaurant Rave
You missed the greatest restaurant in the Tucson area, bar none (“No Glitz Grub,” April 3). La Roque, in Nogales, Mexico, beats all in Tucson. (I’ve eaten in all!) It’s about 60 miles south of Tucson.
Big, big menu. A few Mexican dishes. Last time, two weeks ago, I had Gulf shrimp in light garlic. Others at my table had marvelous steak. Choices were about $10 each. Outstanding margaritas.
Park on U.S. side, 50 yards from border, for $4. Walk through border house, turn left, walk about 150 yards to restaurant at foot of cliff.
