Amid an overwhelming amount of Madonna bashing--even by her standards--the Material Girl has a smash single on her hands. “I’ll Remember,” from the Maverick-Warner Bros. soundtrack to the new film “With Honors,” is scoring huge requests at radio stations across the country, with programmers reporting broad demographic appeal. MTV is also reporting numerous requests for the video. Most significantly, single sales are exploding and have placed the new scourge of late-night TV firmly in the Top 10.
