VENICE : 2 Teen-Agers Wounded in Shooting at Bus Stop
A drive-by shooting in the Venice area has left two teen-agers wounded.
A 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were at a bus stop near Lincoln and Venice boulevards about 8:15 p.m. Thursday when they became involved in a quarrel with three men in a van, said Sgt. Dennis Barbello of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Shots were fired from the van, wounding the teen-agers, Barbello said. The girl was in critical but stable condition and the boy in satisfactory condition at UCLA Medical Center on Friday night.
Police were questioning a 24-year-old man in connection with the incident. The other suspects remained at large, Barbello said.
