EL RIO : 25-Year-Old Stabbing Victim Is Identified
Authorities on Friday identified a man who was discovered stabbed to death in the bedroom of his El Rio home.
Braulio Bojorquev, 25, was found Thursday by friends of his roommate who became concerned when he couldn’t reach Bojorquev by phone for several days, said Ventura County Sheriff’s Lt. Craig Husband.
When the roommate’s brother and friends broke into the house in the 800 block of Simon Way, they found Bojorquev’s body in the bedroom, Husband said.
Authorities said he had been dead for more than 24 hours, but declined to release more details.
Bojorquev worked on repairing and painting cars, authorities said. He is survived by his wife and other relatives in Tijuana.
