He’s Not a Prospect for World Cup Tickets
How much longer must we be subjected to all of this made-up hype over soccer?
With the exception of some immigrants and selected parents whose interest lasts only as long as their kids play, no one truly gives a hoot.
For 20 years, white middle class parents have pushed their kids through youth soccer, but no one is interested enough to buy tickets.
Stop trying to make Americans feel they should feel guilty about not liking this dull sport and understand that soccer will always be like softball in the U.S.--everybody may play but few will pay.
