North Face Sold to Management Group: The wholesaler and retailer of mountaineering and camping gear was sold at auction for $59 million to TNF Holdings Inc., a group composed of certain members of North Face management, said Robertson, Stephens & Co., the investment bank retained by North Face to sell the company. The public auction was part of the confirmation hearings for the bankruptcy of the Odyssey Group, a holding corporation that formerly owned Head Sportswear International, Marmot, Sierra Designs and Apex.
