Hot Springs Escape
It was interesting to read about the Weekend Escape to Desert Hot Springs (“Two Bunch Balm,” May 1) and the amount of money spent for two nights. We just returned from five nights at Elderhostel at the Stardust Motel. We might not have had such grand housing but we enjoyed great meals, the same hot water plus a trip to Joshua Tree Park for under $800 for two.
