Insurance Auto Acquires 2 Salvage Companies

Insurance Auto Auctions Inc., a North Hollywood-based seller of salvage vehicles, said it has acquired Texas Auto Salvage Pool in San Antonio and West Coast Auto Storage Pool, which has two facilities in the state of Washington.

Insurance Auto said that both companies were privately held and no financial terms were disclosed. Insurance Auto said Texas Auto Salvage processes about 9,000 cars a year and West Coast processes about 5,000 cars a year.
