Times photographer Anacleto Rapping was taking pictures of boisterous Argentine fans near the Cotton Bowl before Thursday’s Argentina-Bulgaria match when a local organizing official told him to stop. The reason? The official claimed the photographer was inciting fans to sing and chant.

Replied Rapping, who kept shooting: “You’re crazy.”
