Biolase Technology Inc.: The San Clemente manufacturer of medical laser products and specialized biomaterials said it lost $501,539 or 7 cents a share, for the second quarter. That compared to a loss of $1.9 million, or 47 cents a share, for the corresponding 1993 period. Sales were up 9% to $653,988 from $598,399. For the first half, the company reported a loss of $639,711, or 9 cents a share, down from a loss of $3.5 million, or 81 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Six-month sales declined 32% to $822,119 from $1.2 million.
