Media Vision Files for Chapter 11: The troubled multimedia firm said it was forced to file for federal bankruptcy protection after its major lenders rejected a reorganization plan to keep the company out of Bankruptcy Court. The Fremont, Calif.-based firm has been shaken this year by the resignation of three board members and allegations of securities violations, which have triggered investigations by the FBI and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
