Mark Goodson Productions Explores Sale: The TV game show producer, whose shows include “The Price Is Right” and “Family Feud,” said it has hired investment bank Lazard Freres & Co. to explore “strategic alternatives.” The move follows a decision in May to pull out of Sony’s proposed Game Show Channel after what insiders described as division about the company’s future among the heirs of the late Mark Goodson, who died in 1992. Most observers expect Lazard to try to find a buyer for the company, whose chief asset is a library of TV game show episodes.
