Abel Anton of Spain surged past Vincent Rousseau of Belgium with only 10 yards left to win the 10,000 meters at track and field’s European Championships at Helsinki.
Aton’s winning time was a personal-best 28 minutes 06.03 seconds. Rousseau’s time was 28:06.63.
