Pinkerton Purchases Stanley Smith Offices
Pinkerton Security & Investigation Services, the Encino-based private security company, said it has purchased contract security-guard services with estimated revenues of $23 million per year from Stanley Smith Security Inc., a subsidiary of the Australian company Mayne Nickless Ltd.
The company declined to give the price of the transaction. Pinkerton plans to consolidate former Stanley Smith offices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Georgia, Colorado, Washington and Northern California with its existing operations. It has also gained two Stanley Smith offices in Alaska.
Pinkerton said it agreed to the purchase to strengthen its customer base and to expand its services into Alaska.
