Bob Moore has joined AmericanTours International as chief operating officer, a new position. Before joining the Los Angeles-based firm, Moore was senior vice president of sales for Beverly Hills-based Hilton Hotels Corp. He is also vice chairman of the Travel Industry Assn. of America. Before he joined Hilton in 1986, Moore managed one of Hawaii’s largest tour operators. AmericanTours International is a leading wholesale tour operator, producing revenue of $150 million last year while bringing more than 600,000 visitors to the United States. The company has 500 employees nationwide.
