Fox TV Names New President: David Evans was appointed president and chief operating officer. The move represents the second stage of a reorganization triggered in July by the departure of Fox Broadcasting Co. Chairman Lucie Salhany. Evans, who has been president of Fox Circle Productions since May, 1993, will report to Chase Carey, Fox Television’s new chairman and chief executive. Evans will work with Carey in overseeing all activities at Fox Broadcasting Co., Fox Television Stations, 20th Television’s domestic distribution and Fox’s new cable operations.
