Diane Courtney Anderson Dies
LAGUNA NIGUEL — Diane Courtney Anderson, who assisted with public relations and volunteer work for numerous charitable organizations in Orange County, has died of a long illness. She was 65.
Mrs. Anderson worked at Rockwell International in Anaheim for 29 years as community affairs manager. In that position, she became well known among the county’s private nonprofit organizations as a volunteer and board member.
Those organizations included the American Cancer Society, Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, United Way of Orange County and KOCE-TV Citizens Advisory Council.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Public Relations Society of America and American Management Assn. She was a native Californian.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Roger of Laguna Niguel; daughters, Christine Webb of Long Beach and Rebecca Gacek of Menlo Park; mother, Beatrice Leib of Florida, and grandchildren, Kirstin, Kileigh and Gavin Hahn.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Newport Beach.
