Countywide : Press Club to Present Annual Musical
The Orange County Press Club will stage its 11th Gridiron Show 7 p.m. Saturday night at the Curtis Theater in Brea.
The Gridiron Show is a spoof of local politicians and a humorous review of the year’s past news events. This year’s theme is “Late Night with David Laventhol,” patterned after the David Letterman show. Dave will be played by Times correspondent Geoff Boucher. Laventhol is editor at large of Times Mirror Co.
Local journalists make up the cast and will join in an 18-song medley of familiar tunes designed to satirize current events.
