Body of Man, 62, Found in Bushes
NORTH HOLLYWOOD — A 62-year-old Pacoima man was found dead in bushes along Whitnall Highway near Cahuenga Boulevard in an apparent homicide, police said Wednesday.
Police have not determined when Roy Haselow died, but said he may have been killed in the Pacoima area, said Officer Rick Plows of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division. Haselow carried no identification when a passerby discovered his body about noon Tuesday. He was identified by fingerprints, Plows said.
Sgt. Kristie Romero said it appeared Haselow had been struck in the face with a hard object, although police have not determined the cause of death.
