Liberty National Bank: The Huntington Beach bank said it lost $671,137, or 69 cents a share, for the second quarter. That contrasted with a profit of $203,650, or 21 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. For the first half, the company reported a loss of $760,696, or 78 cents a share, contrasted with profit of $375,455, or 38 cents a share, for the corresponding period last year. Assets as of June 30 declined 13% to $142.7 million from $163.1 million.
