Lack of Intelligence Seen as the Key Issue

I think it is appalling that The Times published a story on a college football player who, by his own stupidity, negligence and callousness, blew off his left hand in an explosion caused by a bomb he made (“Touching Back--Payam Saadat Returns to Football After Losing Left Hand in Explosion,” Aug. 29).

Instead of reading Poor Man’s James Bond, Saadat should have looked for a book entitled, Poor Man’s Guide to a High IQ.
