Access Language Services Wins L.A. Ballot Contract

Access Language Services Inc., a Woodland Hills-based language instruction and services firm, announced it has been awarded a contract by the city of Los Angeles for the translation of election materials.

The company said it will be paid at least $60,000 for the translation and typesetting of official sample ballots and voter information pamphlets into Spanish, Tagalog, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese. The 12-month contract began Thursday.

Access also said it recently received a contract for translation of materials for the California Lottery.
