Labor Day Weekend Box Office : Summer Season Goes Out With a Bang
The just-ended, record-breaking $2.2-billion summer movie season was capped by the best-ever Labor Day weekend grosses, which totaled $90.8 million. A difference of only $2,000 separated seventh-ranked “The Lion King” from eighth-ranked “Corrina, Corrina.”
